Who Am I?
A very good question. I am Simmi. I am the 'creative force' as I was very nicely described recently, behind Grace's Favours. I am actually the entire work-force for Grace's Favours. I create the designs, make the gorgeous products, or the funky patterns, put the listings on the website, I do the marketing, the sales, the invoicing, the accounts, the packaging, the post runs, write the blog posts and make the tea! Phew!

Who Else Do I Talk About?
Well. I'm married to my best friend and the most supportive other half imaginable, Brian. We have been married since 2006 and moved to the Forest of Dean in West Gloucestershire, UK not long after.
Since we've moved here, we've renovated our lovely old bakery and had two gorgeous (well, mostly!) children, Seren, who was born in 2008 and Patrick who was born in 2010:

This Blog
I started this blog in March 2012, about 6 months after starting my business. I realised that one of the most crucial thing about selling online is getting found in the first place. So the blog is designed to help with that. I also find it very therapeutic to write, especially as I can write as if no-one is listening, as I can't see you, so I'm far more brave this way!!
I blog about the things I make, patterns I'm creating, hints and tips on how to get the most out of selling online and I share crafty tutorials, both mine and other free tutorials that I've come across. You can find the full list on the Tutorials page.
What do I do?
I create patterns for fun things like finger puppets and face masks, and finished products, such as my very popular VW Campervan and VW Beetle ranges, both of which I have been selling online, through My Etsy Shop since October 2011 and more recently I have opened a Folksy Shop & a Dawanda Shop.
Having started out solely making finished products, I'm moving towards a mix of patterns, which will be for sale in my online shops and handmade items.
If you would like to feature one of my patterns on your blog, in your magazine, on your website, please do get in touch.
